Energy work aids to restore and realign the body's subtle vibrations. There are many traditions of working with energy in this way--   some examples are Reiki, acupuncture, Qui Gong, yoga chakra work, working with plant energy and hands on.  Science can not yet explain it, and it is difficult to quantify because one experience can not necessarily be repeated, but even "science" based institutions like hospitals are now using practices like Reiki and aromatherapy because it works. You do not need to "believe in it" for it to have positive results.  

 

I am a trained Reiki practitioner and teacher. I am also trained in Chakra balancing, Vibrational healing and Holy Fire Reiki.  My practice as a witch - an earth based, goddess centered spiritual practice- also works with energy healing and exploration   Working with "energy" has been a practice from ancient times and is recently having a resurgence as it has been shown to address ailments and imbalance that science can not.
